 Informative tool 

An informative tool in ICT (Information and communication Technology) refers to the use of virous technologies, such as computers, the internet, digital media, software, and telecommunication systems, to collect, organize, process, store, share, and present information.

 

from my understanding Informative tools means any device or a tool that contain and provide large amount of information to the learners in the form of text, graphics, sound, image and videos which help them to understand and remember in a better way. After learning about informative tool as a future teacher it is essential for us to integrate informative tool in classroom. This tool makes our teaching effective, enjoyable, and take less time to understand by students. Using informative tool   not only benefit us as a teacher but it has vast advantages to student.

 Why we need to integrate informative tool in classroom.

Informative tools make classroom learning more engaging and efficient, and effective. Firstly, it supports different learning style. All the students are not same, so some students learn better through visual, while other videos, and some text so this tool cater to various learning preferences. Secondly integrating informative tools in classroom improves Retention and understanding. For example, learning about a topic water cycle Most of the students prefer visual tools rather than text based and lecture from teachers.

I have learned that if a teacher use Tools like videos, pictures, and diagram than it helps student see how things work, so it makes student easy to remember the process and information easily. Thirdly it encourages and promotes independent learning. Student can research on their own using online resources and e-books. It helps them to explore more anytime anywhere at their own pace and student don't always need teacher to guide them. Fourthly   it promotes Digital literacy and prepares students for the Digital World. Using informative tools help student how to search, develop skill and build future careers. Not only this integrating informative tools helps both student and teachers to save time making it easy to get information instead of searching in textbook.

I have learned that informative tools help to teach in a better way by using effective teaching materials and the help to prepare lesson faster. this allows them to pay more attention to teaching and guiding rather than searching information. It helps students to complete their assignment on time in an effective way. Because of the informative tools student take less time to understand the lesson taught by teacher.

Madams have explained various format of informative tools such as Image, Audio, Videos, Animation, and Graphics. We can apply all this tools during our teaching practice to let child learn effectively. From this various format graphic seems to be very interesting. We made an activity choosing one topic from primary class using single page ppt.

At first, I don't have any idea how to make single slide ppt. After explained by madam I Learned and created a one slide presentation on topic transportation. It's interesting to make and it will be effective to student to learn using graphics which include text, image, videos, sound and animation. It has lots of advantage if teacher use graphics in teaching as firstly it improves retention and memory as our brain tend to capture more images and videos making information more memorable. Secondly it engages all student as more students prefer colorful and interactive content rather than only text. The most important thing is it supports diverse learning style. Not all the learners learn through text some learn best through image and videos.

                                                                                                                                                                                         How can you integrate informative tools in classroom.

As a future teacher I am going to integrate this tool in classroom by choosing right tools like videos to introduce a topic, Graphs and image to show trend or comparisons and sounds and videos to explain process. For example, if I am going to teach about topic Transportation. During introduction asking student how you travel from school to home? showing images of different transportation.

I will show videos or animation how transportation move. Make them understand more by explaining in the form 0f text or sound. After that I will let student do activity by showing image with vehicle name and pictures.

 Students have to classify them in which types of transportation it falls. At last student can explain different types of transportation and their usages using pictures. during this activity teachers uses image and text to let student do activity in a meaningful way. Student can classify answer like I have mention below.
